Promises: words people say that mean nothing
Today was the JDRF walk. My own father did not show after calling the night before CONFIRMING the time. I drove the 45min to the walk, was there for and 1hour and a half, drove 45min back home and did not hear from him. In an outburst of anger my mother called him. His response you ask? “Aw man i missed the walk, aw man. Oh i am going to have to apologize.” Thanks dad but it’s alright, your apologizes are like your promises; worthless.
